Beading Up A Storm

The wild weather has prevented me from getting out into the garden. While watching the new greenhouse coping with it's first storm - a storm that saw the Met Office issue a rare red alert - I've been busy making some new polymer clay jewellery. I'm still working on the photos, so keep an eye on the NEW! page over the next few days to see what I've been up to.

Red Galaxy Choker

I never know what is going to happen when I combine a few colours to make marbled or swirl beads. This one speaks to me of a red moon galaxy and I'm pleased with the way the sparkle adds a little extra pzazz to this large statement bead. The bead is 40mm across and the choker is designed to set the bead against the base of the throat.

The flowers may be challenged outside, but in my studio they are blooming in shades of purple and blue.
